Help! I need YOUR wisdom and experience!

I have some ideas to make some learning things for Eden but I want to laminate them. Do any of you own a laminator and if so, do you like yours, and if so, what is it? Or, do you suggest just using clear contact paper?

I have a mini one. I love it, but it is hard for me to re-stock mini laminating sheets. I haven't really looked hard lately, though.
I definately like lamination over contact paper. It holds up way better.

I always take all my laminating needs to the copy story and they do a great job. You can ask them to laminate the same thing twice to make it more durable! BTW- Thanks for the Flat Stanley! Daniel was thrilled and it was just perfect!

If you want to purchase a cold laminator, this site is having a special -buy one and get one free. It would make a great gift for someone.

I don't own a laminator, but I love them. Most copy stores have one. Also, call a local school or child development center and ask if they allow people to use the laminator. I can use the school's closest to my house for a very low price. It's not as convenient as owning one, but it sure is cheaper! Also, Phil might have access to one at his work. I would laminate over using contact paper any day for a couple of different reasons.
