Food Friday - News Flash

Food Friday is preempted with this exciting news:

She Walks!

At about 3:00 today she came up to me and said, "mother, I believe it is now time to go retrieve the mail." Ok, she really said, "side, may" which of course means, "outside, mail." While we were getting the mail my neighbor walked across the street and began to visit. Eden was standing, holding on to my finger. Well, apparently we talked longer than she wanted and Eden let go of my hand and walked away. Since then she has walked all over the house and outside. Amazing.

Isn't that funny that she just decided to take off...after all the prompting and practice. Yeah! We can't wait to see her at church!

What fun! Isn't it interesting that she did it when she was ready. She just said - I'm bored I want to see something else. Too cute.

Yeah, and now we just had a battle at Target because she DID NOT want to hold hands and she DID NOT want to ride in the cart and she DID NOT want to go in the direction we were headed (what is funny about that is that WE were headed to buy HER an ELMO DVD and SHE wanted to go look at men's underwear ... hmmmmm). Good times.

Great! I knew it would just "happen" one day. Now you can look forward to some nice bruises on her head...happens to the best of them. Congrats!!
